JOB SUMMARY:

The  Senior Marketing Client Consultant is a highly strategic, client-facing role responsible for driving the adoption and usage of digital payments and financial services products for top-tier financial institutions. Acting as both a consultant and marketer, this individual will partner directly with clients to craft and implement multi-channel campaigns that support digital engagement, retention, and growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of consumer and small business marketing within financial services, paired with proven success in developing scalable marketing plans that generate measurable outcomes. This role also works closely with internal Fiserv teams including product, analytics, campaign developers, and sales to deliver exceptional client experiences.

This role is part of our Fiserv Consulting group, Fiserv is a global fintech and payments company with solutions for banking, global commerce, merchant aquiring, bill and payments, and point-of-sale.

Location:

 Candidates must be located in Illinois, Texas, Colorado, Michigan, Georgia, or Ohio. For individuals based in our Michigan and Illinois locations, this will be a hybrid role, requiring both in-office and remote work. For candidates in Texas, Colorado, Georgia, or Ohio, this position will be fully remote.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Build collaborative, consultative relationships with key stakeholders across leading financial institutions
  • Deliver strategic marketing guidance informed by industry trends, data insights, and consumer behavior
  • Develop annual, integrated marketing plans that drive consumer and small business adoption of digital payments and money movement products
  • Launch and manage marketing initiatives across channels, including social, paid media, email, and in-branch marketing
  • Partner cross-functionally with internal marketing, analytics, and campaign development teams to execute client marketing programs
  • Monitor and report on campaign results, driving continuous optimization and measurable ROI
  • Provide thought leadership and marketing best practices to improve the customer journey and deepen digital engagement
  • Influence and align internal stakeholders on campaign execution, timelines, and client expectations
  • Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, ensuring consistent delivery, communication, and success tracking

REQUIREMENTS

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Experience in complex consumer and/or small business marketing—preferably within fintech, digital banking, or tech 
  • Strong background in multi-channel marketing strategy, including social media, paid media, email, and in-product campaigns 
  • Proven ability to manage large accounts and client relationships, including selling and defending ideas and marketing results 
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple client engagements in parallel 
  • Strong analytical skills with a results-oriented mindset 
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills 
  • Experience with marketing budget management and performance reporting
  • Previous experience working in or supporting financial institutions or banking clients 
  • Hands-on exposure to digital marketing platforms and analytics tools 
  • Experience developing omni-channel campaigns that align with product roadmaps and lifecycle strategies 

Travel Requirement:

Up to 25% travel for client engagements and internal collaboration

The hiring range for this discipline within our industry is $90,000 to $110,000. Where an employee is paid within this range will depend on multiple factors including, but not limited to location, years of experience, education, internal pay structure, and other contributing factors.
