Job Description

Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Strategist to join our Value-Based Platform (VBP) Product Management team. In this role, you will support the Head of Product in defining, executing, and refining the VBP product portfolio. You will be at the nexus of market intelligence, customer insight and VBP strategy. You will collaborate closely with various functional areas across organizations to identify opportunities & investments that can generate sustained value for Risant Health systems, optimize the portfolio and guide Product teams to successfully execute.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Intelligence:
  • Conduct market research to identify unmet needs, emerging trends, competitor activity and opportunities in value-based care for VBP to pursue.
  • Analyze user behaviors using internal and external data to guide solution development and portfolio prioritization.

• Product Vision and Strategy:
  • Define and evolve a compelling product vision that aligns with Risant Health's strategic objectives.
  • Lead process to develop multi-year goals, annual strategic plans and investment opportunities.
  • Evaluate strategic partnerships and emerging technologies to enhance the impact of VBP.
• Roadmap Development:
  • Lead process to create comprehensive portfolio roadmaps and OKRs that connect strategic goals to executable plans.
  • Track success using measures that focus on outcomes and business performance.
  • Periodically refine product direction and prioritize portfolio based on performance metrics and user insights.

• Investment and Business Case Development:
  • Build compelling business case for new solutions with robust financial models
  • Validate desirability, viability, and feasibility of new solutions across user segments and organizations.
• Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to generate ideas, validate opportunities, align resources and manage risks
  • Communicate progress, impact, risks, recommendations to leadership / stakeholders to obtain buy-in, make decisions or obtain funding.

Qualifications

Minimum

Qualifications

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in a healthcare solution development / product-focused role (e.g., product lead, product manager), with strategic planning and managerial experience.
• Exposure to healthcare operations (inpatient, continuum, ambulatory, or health plan) and vendors who serve organizations that provide care and/or coverage.
• BA Degree or 10 years of experience in product strategy, corporate strategy, business development, management consulting, or similar analytical and cross-functional role

• Experience in the healthcare multi-payer / multi-provider environment.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing solutions to complex healthcare challenges, shaping product or portfolio-level strategy, making investment decisions and strategic planning
• Proficiency in data-driven decision-making to evaluate opportunities, refine product portfolio, and enable execution at all levels of an organization.
• Excellent communication, storytelling and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders across levels, functions and disciplines
• Familiarity with the product development lifecycle (phases, activities, ceremonies, tools), digital health solutions, EHR systems, health IT infrastructure.

Additional Information

• Compensation and Benefits: The projected base salary for this position ranges from $163,510 to $216,700, depending on experience and

  qualifications

  . This role is also eligible for incentive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package, including wellness programs, retirement savings, and relocation support as applicable.
