This role also ensures compliance with procurement policies and industry standards while continuously identifying opportunities for process improvement and cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire procurement lifecycle for equipment, from vendor selection to final delivery, ensuring acquisitions are cost-effective, timely, and aligned with operational demands.
  • Conduct market research and assess vendor capabilities to identify, evaluate, and maintain strong supplier relationships that secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
  • Monitor, track, and manage procurement budgets, ensuring spending aligns with company goals while maintaining optimal cost-efficiency and high-quality equipment standards.
  • Solicit, review, and negotiate vendor proposals for new store equipment and remodel projects, ensuring all quotes meet pricing, quality, and timeline expectations.

  • Support project managers in procurement-related closeout activities, ensuring all required documentation is collected, reviewed, and finalized for project completion.

  • Maintain real-time inventory tracking of equipment, collaborating with internal teams to prevent stock shortages, excess inventory, or supply chain disruptions.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, safety regulations, and industry standards to mitigate risks and maintain operational integrity.
  • Analyze procurement processes for inefficiencies, implementing improvements that enhance cost savings, streamline operations, and optimize equipment sourcing strategies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management, with a strong emphasis on equipment sourcing and vendor management.
  • Proficiency in procurement and inventory systems, with the ability to analyze data and improve purchasing decisions.
  • Solid understanding of procurement strategies, including cost analysis, budgeting, and sourcing optimization for cost savings.
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in securing competitive pricing, managing vendor contracts, and building supplier relationships.
  • Analytical and research skills to assess market trends and identify cost-effective procurement solutions.
  • Strong attention to detail in purchase tracking, contract management, and deliveries.
  • Effective communicator, skilled in vendor negotiations, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing business needs.
