Established in 1960, Sirois Tool has evolved into a strong and diversified manufacturer of precision tooling, gages, and parts for many industries. We are looking to bring on a Process Engineer at our location in Berlin, CT.

The Position:

This position will be responsible for estimating costs for new and repeat projects based on required operations and processes. Candidate must possess a strong manufacturing knowledge and understanding of operations and processes required to manufacture customer parts.  

In this role you will:

• Develop cost estimates, work instructions and bills of materials
  
• Develop manufacturing processes and process order routers and operation plans/drawings
  
• Create work procedures and engineering methods for manufacturing
  
• Assist in First Articles on shop floor to validate work instructions and process specifications
  
• Work with the Operations, Purchasing, and Quality teams to develop new vendors and subcontractors and ensure product quality and timely delivery
  

About You:

• At least 3 years of experience within a manufacturing/machine shop environment with similar responsibilities
  
• Strong ability to read blueprints. Knowledge and understanding of GD&T.
  

• Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  

• Strong computer skills and experience using ERP systems and Solidworks
  
• Knowledge of ISO9000 requirements
