We’re looking for a motivated, loyal, and confident Dog Training Assistant to join our team at Dog Camp in Driftwood, TX. This is more than just a job — it’s an opportunity to learn a proven, proprietary dog training system and grow into a trusted part of our team. If you're someone who communicates well, isn’t afraid of big or reactive dogs, and loves both animals and people, this role might be for you
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with group classes, private sessions, and board & train dogs
• Learn and apply Kris Tait’s proprietary training methodology (training provided)
• Capture and edit photo/video content of dogs in training and play
• Send out digital report cards for board & train clients
• Communicate with clients on-site and via phone/text/email as needed
• Help manage dog behavior during evaluations and classes
• Maintain cleanliness of training areas, kennels, and grounds
• Support day-to-day operations at Dog Camp Qualifications
Requirements:
• Comfortable around dogs of all sizes and temperaments, including reactive/aggressive dogs
• Ability to work on your feet all day and safely handle strong dogs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Willingness to learn photo/video equipment (DJI, Sony, DSLR, drone — training provided)
• No prior dog training experience required — we’ll teach you
