Position Overview:

The Arizona Respiratory Board is seeking a Contract Investigator to support its licensing and enforcement operations. This role is ideal for professionals with prior investigative experience in state agencies, particularly within health board licensing.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and conduct investigations related to licensing and complaints.
Coordinate with Medical Consultants to ensure timely and accurate case processing.
Collect and manage data, ensuring quality control and timely completion of investigative projects.
Prepare and organize cases for presentation before the Board.
Respond to inquiries from licensees and complainants regarding investigations.
Communicate with licensees and their legal counsel, maintaining accurate records of all communications.

Required Skills:

Prior investigative experience with a state agency.

Preferred Skills:

Investigative or executive leadership experience in a health board licensing agency.

Additional Information:

Candidates must be local to Arizona and available for in-person interviews within one week of the posting close date.
Must be able to start within two weeks of offer.
Background checks and drug screenings will be conducted via HireRight .
Tentative start date is subject to completion of interviews, onboarding, and issuance of a Purchase Order by the agency.
