TIG Welder

Position –  TIG Welder

Job Location –  Oshkosh, WI

Starting Date –  ASAP

Employment Term –  Temp to hire

Employment Type –  Full time

Work Hours (Shift) – 2nd shift

Starting Pay – $25+ per hour

Required Education –  High School Diploma/GED

Required Experience –  At least 2 years of experience

As a TIG Welder, you'll be responsible for performing high-quality welding on a variety of materials, including stainless steel and aluminum. You will work on custom projects and production runs, ensuring every weld meets our strict quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on various metals and gauges
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the appropriate welding process and materials
• Inspect and test welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
• Operate and maintain welding equipment and tools
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Qualifications 

• Proven experience as a TIG welder
• Proficiency in welding stainless steel and aluminum
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Welding certification is a plus, but not required
