We are actively seeking a skilled Senior Program Manager with an extensive background in managing simulation and training programs, specifically focusing on Maintenance or Aircrew Training Systems for the Air Force and the Department of Defense (DoD). The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing the daily operations of projects, ensuring punctual delivery, and maximizing training device availability and training throughput, while maintaining strong working relationships with our enterprise and governmental stakeholders. **Responsibilities**
+ Supervises and manages a portfolio of DoD simulation and training projects from conception to culmination, ensuring alignment with established objectives, schedules, and budgetary constraints.
+ Builds and nurtures relationships with government stakeholders, ensuring clear communication regarding project aspirations, progress, and outcomes.
+ Designs comprehensive project plans, encompassing scope, goals, deliverables, essential resources, budget, and timelines.
+ Synchronizes cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment on project goals and facilitating regular status updates.
+ Recognizes and addresses potential risks or challenges, devising preemptive solutions.
+ Guarantees strict adherence to all DoD and relevant simulation/training regulations, guidelines, and requirements.
+ Offers guidance and mentorship to other team members, promoting an atmosphere of perpetual learning and growth.
+ Executes post-project evaluations to identify learned lessons and established practices for subsequent ventures.
+ Contributes to capture efforts to ensure pursuits are both awardable and executable.
+ Manages multiple and/or large programs to ensure that implementation and prescribed activities are carries out in accordance with specified objectives.
+ Manages the work activities for multiple programs to ensure satisfactory delivery.
+ Manages the planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
+ Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to senior management.
+ Responsible for managing activities of subcontractors and/or vendors. In-depth understanding of Simulation & Training programs and technologies.
+ Leads and directs the work of other employees and has full authority for personnel decisions.
+ Administers departmental policies and procedures, evaluates results and performance, and assists with the development of new or modified budgets, plans, or policies.
**Qualifications**
+ Bachelor's degree in a related field (graduate degree preferred).
+ 7+ years of experience in program management with a specific focus on simulation and training programs, preferably in the domains of maintenance or aircrew training.
+ Exceptional interpersonal and communication proficiencies, capable of effective interactions with diverse levels of government and military personnel.
+ In-depth understanding of the intricacies, technologies, and best practices of modern simulation and training systems.
+ PMP certification or equivalent is a strong advantage.
+ Comprehensive knowledge of DoD regulations, guidelines, and procurement processes related to training and simulation.
+ Proficiency developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules in MS Project. Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
