LOCATION

Candidates should be based in the NY metro area. We are a hybrid organization and work three days per week in our downtown New York City office.

ABOUT THE ROLE/WHAT YOU WILL DO

We are seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and revenue operations. This position will work closely with fundraising, grantmaking, and digital teams to manage budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. A major focus will be supporting the establishment and maintenance of a revenue operations process that will enable accurate income forecasting and power our fundraising operations. This process spans multiple departments and includes the timely and accurate logging of donor revenue data in HubSpot (our CRM) from various online and offline donation platforms to improve our prospecting, income recognition, and reconciliation processes.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong financial acumen, data management expertise, and excellent cross-functional management skills.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis across departments.
  • Develop financial dashboards and KPIs to track fundraising performance and operational efficiency.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.

Revenue Operations & Data Integrity

  • Support the accuracy and completeness of income data and donor records in HubSpot and assist in the integration with accounting systems.
  • Collaborate with the fundraising and digital teams to understand fundraising operations and help implement processes, dashboards, and reporting to drive income.
  • Assist in revenue recognition and reconciliation, ensuring proper classification of individual and corporate donations.
  • Identify and recommend process improvements to streamline revenue tracking and reporting.

Cross-Functional Financial Support

  • Serve as a financial business partner to fundraising, grantmaking, and other teams, providing insights and guidance.
  • Collaborate with the CFO and Controller to support financial reporting and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with nonprofit accounting standards and best practices.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/MBA a plus).
  • Nonprofit experience is a plus, especially in revenue operations or fundraising finance.
  • Strong experience with HubSpot CRM and donation platforms (e.g., Stripe, PayPal).
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, dashboard creation, and Excel/Google Sheets.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work across departments with a client-service mindset.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

CRUS offers competitive compensation. The salary range for this role is anticipated to be $100,00.00 - $110,000.00. The actual salary is dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: abilities, skills, work experience, knowledge, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
