Job Description

Adelphi is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech-language therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist at a school in Tuba City, Arizona. The SLPA will work directly with students to support the goals outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Requirements:

• Current Arizona licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant.

Responsibilities:

• Provide speech and language services to students as prescribed by the supervising SLP.
• Implement treatment plans and IEP goals developed by the supervising SLP.
• Document student progress and maintain accurate records of therapy sessions.
• Assist in preparing therapy materials and scheduling sessions.
• Communicate with supervising SLP regarding student performance and concerns.
• Support compliance with Medicaid billing requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with FERPA and HIPAA.
• Participate in staff meetings or training sessions as directed.
• Any other duties as assigned.
