Job Description

Description A growing organization is seeking an experienced accounting detail oriented to step in on a short-term contract. This person will work closely with leadership to maintain key accounting operations and ensure a smooth transition. This position will be onsite in San Fransico. Oversee day-to-day accounting activities, including reviewing reconciliations and spreadsheets Approve bills, journal entries, and checks prepared by the AP team Maintain and correct general ledger accounts as needed Manage intercompany accounts and allocations for expense categories (e.g. insurance) Take ownership of online billing and help lead initiatives to increase credit card limits Handle projects involving financial analysis, pivot tables, and advanced Excel modeling Review the work of one Senior Accountant and assist directly with high-level tasks Conduct thorough reviews of bank and credit card reconciliations Act as a support partner to the executive finance lead on ad hoc needs If you're interested in this position, please apply to this position and contact Stefano Silvia at Stefano.Silvia - at - roberthalf - .com with your word resume and reference job ID# Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Prior experience reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, AP/AR, and intercompany transactions Strong background in general ledger accounting and reconciliations Experience reviewing and approving journal entries, AP transactions, and billing processes Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and data uploads) Experience with NetSuite Proven ability to jump into a role quickly and operate with minimal handholding Non Profit Experience Robert Half is the world's first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
