```Duties```- Perform bookkeeping tasks, including but not limited to:- Recording financial transactions in accounting software- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions- Reconciling bank statements and other financial documents- Generating financial reports and statements- Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable- Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
```Experience```- Minimum of [X] years of experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Xero, Quicken, or similar programs- Experience with journal entries, balance sheet reconciliation, and other bookkeeping tasks- Familiarity with technical accounting, corporate accounting, or governmental accounting is a plus- Previous experience in public accounting or working with multiple clients is preferred
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is preferred but not required- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
