The Neuroscience Institute (NI) was launched to bring together faculty and staff from across the University to conduct multi-disciplinary work to advance the state of brain science. We are seeking a Post-Doctoral Research Associate for the Pitkow Lab. **Core Responsibilities Include:** + Develop computational methods for inference and control that improve the reliable and efficient operation of autonomous agents in complex, uncertain environments. + Modeling dynamical systems + Designing and extending algorithms grounded in probabilistic machine learning + Applying statistical techniques to assess robustness and generalization. + Development of methods of research, testing and data collection, analysis and evaluation, and writing reports which contain descriptive, analytical and evaluative content.
