**Job Description** **Harborview Medical Center- Radiology Department has** an outstanding opportunity for a **Patient Services Specialist Lead.** **WORK SCHEDULE** + Full-time Days + Mondays- Fridays + 730am- 1600pm **PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Lead Patient Services Specialists and other assigned staff and perform the work of the other Patient Services Specialist levels + Participate in interviewing applicants + Train and orient new employees and/or volunteers to department + Provide feedback to supervisor for employee performance evaluations, corrective action plans and training plans + Review and correct the work performed by others for compliance with established procedures + Schedule emergency shift assignments + Identify and resolve problems or unusual situations; recommend changes as necessary + Monitor and evaluate policies and procedures to suggest operational changes + Assists in the preparation and maintenance of provider and clinic schedules + Perform the work of the Patient Services Specialist 1, 2, and 3. + Other duties as requested **REQUIREMENTS** + High School graduation or equivalent AND Three years of Patient Support Service experience + OR + Equivalent education/experience **ABOUT HARBORVIEW MEDICAL CENTER** As the region's only Level I Trauma and verified burn center, Harborview Medical Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility owned by King County and operated by UW Medicine.
