Position Summary:
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all maintenance requests and scheduling maintenance activities across managed properties to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained living environments for tenants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance staff and contractors to complete repairs and preventive maintenance efficiently.
- Manage and prioritize maintenance requests from tenants and property management.
- Schedule regular inspections and maintenance tasks to uphold property standards and compliance.
- Ensure timely response to emergency maintenance issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, work orders, and supplies inventory.
- Implement safety protocols and ensure maintenance staff comply with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with property management to plan for long-term maintenance and capital improvements.
- Train and mentor maintenance team members to improve skills and performance.
Requirements
- Proven experience in maintenance supervision, preferably in residential or multi-family housing.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building maintenance.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
