Summary

We’re looking for a motivated and customer-focused  Lottery Sales and Merchandising Representative to join our team. In this role, you’ll build strong relationships with lottery retailers and personnel, drive product visibility, and grow sales through merchandising, training, and promotional efforts. You’ll work closely with  Lottery Retailers and your manager to support and expand lottery operations in your territory.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit new lottery retailers and support sales growth at existing locations.
  • Introduce new games and system updates; provide training and ongoing support.
  • Recommend and implement strategies to optimize lottery product sales.
  • Deliver, install, and maintain point-of-sale materials and equipment.
  • Ensure effective placement of lottery products and promotional materials to increase visibility and impulse purchases.
  • Operate and train retailers on lottery equipment.
  • Participate in route triage and manage route sales when assigned.
  • Maintain and refresh promotional displays and marketing materials.
  • Handle retailer terminations, ownership changes, and other related tasks.
  • Coordinate store resets with field service technicians and store staff.
  • Design and evaluate sales promotions tailored to individual retail locations.
  • Encourage retailer participation in promotional activities.
  • Maintain regular communication with LSRs, District Sales Managers, and other team members.
  • Share insights and best practices to improve team performance.
  • Attend district sales meetings and support special events as assigned.
  • Assist with additional projects and promotions as directed by management.

Qualifications

  • Experience in retail sales or merchandising (lottery experience a plus).
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Comfort with technology and equipment operation.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory, including overnight stays.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $38,281 - $156,700. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable. 

 

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
