We're looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Remote Lower Elementary Math Teacher to inspire students from Preschool to 2nd grade. What You'll Do:
Teach engaging and interactive online math classes for young learners on a weekly basis (5-7 classes, approximately 7-15 hours/week).
Prepare lesson plans using a structured curriculum and ensure classes are both educational and enjoyable.
Assist lead teachers by attending classes and gaining valuable teaching experience.
Conduct one-on-one student evaluations to help place them in the right level (5-10 hours/week).
Grade homework, track student progress, and communicate with parents on a weekly basis (5-7 hours/week).
Participate in ongoing professional development and training.
Take on additional teaching-related tasks as needed.
Schedule & Work Environment:
Work remotely from anywhere with a stable internet connection!
Teaching hours: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM, Wednesday to Sunday (Mondays and Tuesdays off).
Flexible non-teaching hours to accommodate lesson preparation and administrative work.
Who You Are:
Education: Bachelor's degree or higher (all majors welcome, but Education or STEM-related fields preferred!).
Experience: Prior experience teaching math to young children is a plus.
Passion for Teaching: You love working with kids, are patient, and can make learning enjoyable.
Strong Communication Skills: You can effectively engage both students and parents.
Energetic & Charismatic: You have a warm and encouraging teaching style that keeps students excited to learn!
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive Pay:
Teaching Hours: $25-$40 per hour
Administrative Hours (Lesson Prep, Grading, Parent Communication): $16-$21 per hour
Estimated Annual Salary: $40,000 - $50,000 in the first year
Performance-Based Pay Increase:
Up to 15% bonus per semester based on class quality
Opportunity for a $1-$5 increase per teaching hour each semester
