Job Description
As a Front-End Developer, you will be responsible for building engaging web experiences using React.js and Next.js . You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and backend developers to bring ideas to life, ensuring high performance, scalability, and great user experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces using React and Next.js.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries following best practices.
- Implement SSR (Server-Side Rendering) and SSG (Static Site Generation) using Next.js.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to transform designs into functional code.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
- Integrate APIs and backend services to support front-end functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable code with attention to performance and browser compatibility.
- Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience developing front-end applications with React.js.
- Strong experience with Next.js including SSR/SSG and routing.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern ES6+ features.
- Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux, Zustand, or Context API.
- Experience consuming RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
- Familiar with Git and modern CI/CD workflows.
- Understanding of accessibility (WCAG), performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with TypeScript in a production environment.
- Familiarity with headless CMS systems (e.g., Contentful, Sanity).
- Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library).
- Experience with styled-components, Tailwind CSS, or other CSS-in-JS libraries.
- Exposure to Vercel, Netlify, or cloud deployment platforms.
- Understanding of SEO best practices in modern front-end development.
