Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to extract data from multiple source systems
Transform and cleanse data according to business rules and load it into data warehouses or data lakes
Develop scalable and high-performance ETL pipelines
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements
Optimize ETL jobs for performance, reliability, and data quality
Perform data validation, reconciliation, and error handling
Monitor ETL jobs and troubleshoot production issues
Maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data mappings
Support data governance, security, and compliance standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS, or AWS Glue
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.)
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts (star schema, snowflake, fact & dimension tables)
Experience with data integration, data modeling, and data quality
Knowledge of Unix/Linux scripting and scheduling tools (Cron, Control-M, Airflow)
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Hive)
Knowledge of Python or Shell scripting
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for data integration
Understanding of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
Experience in Agile/Scrum environments
