Immediately Hiring - Electrical Designer (Commercial, Retail and Hospitality Interiors | NYC Hybrid) Join a collaborative MEP design team delivering high-performance electrical systems for commercial, retail, and hospitality interiors. We're hiring an Electrical Designer to lead design efforts, mentor junior staff, and support project delivery across all phases. This is a hybrid role based in Midtown Manhattan, ideal for candidates with strong technical skills and experience in high-end interiors. Key Responsibilities + Create high-quality schematics and layouts based on company design principles + Perform surveys, calculations, equipment selections, and layouts + Review shop drawings, conduct field observations, and prepare reports + Mentor junior team members and collaborate with consultants + Ensure adherence to design standards and project timelines Must-Haves + Bachelor's degree in engineering + 4+ years in a professional engineering design role + Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD + Experience with commercial/corporate, retail, and hospitality interiors + Strong communication and organizational skills Preferred + Professional Engineering License + Proficiency in Microsoft Office + Ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines Work Environment + Hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 remote + Collaborative team culture with growth opportunities Ready to lead electrical design for high-end interiors? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
