Job Description

Salary: $40,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements:

  • We are seeking candidates with an Associate's degree or a high school diploma or equivalent, along with two years of relevant experience. Relevant college coursework or vocational/technical training may be considered in place of some experience, but the minimum degree requirement remains essential. The ideal candidate would possess knowledge of current operating systems, hands-on experience providing direct customer support, and the ability to troubleshoot basic hardware and software, including various operating systems and utilities. Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Suite, G Suite, Dropbox, and other prevalent software on campus is preferred. A valid Florida Driver's License is required at the time of hire, and all applicants must successfully complete a Level 2 criminal background screening.
Responsibilities:
  • In this entry-level Desktop Support Specialist position, I will have the opportunity to assist end users in setting up and navigating supported equipment and software. I will support our inventory management and help familiarize users with technology. My responsibilities will include resolving software issues related to supported applications, installing and relocating computers, printers, and other end-user technology devices, and ensuring that designated system images and application software are appropriately set up. I will also troubleshoot and address entry-level problems, providing essential maintenance for computers, printers, and additional technology.
