Robert Half is working with a client in San Diego, CA, to fill a Customer Service Agent position. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for assisting customers via phone, email, or chat, ensuring their inquiries are addressed promptly and accurately. You will serve as a key liaison between customers and company departments, helping resolve issues, identifying solutions, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Respond to customer inquiries and complaints through phone, email, or live chat in a professional and friendly manner.
+ Resolve customer issues efficiently, escalating complex concerns to appropriate departments as needed.
+ Maintain detailed records of customer interactions in the company's CRM system.
+ Provide product or service-related information to customers, including pricing, features, and troubleshooting.
+ Assist with order processing and follow-up to ensure timely delivery and accurate fulfillment.
+ Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions or products.
+ Monitor customer feedback and share insights with management to improve service delivery.
+ Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to provide seamless customer support.
Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
+ 1-2 years of prior experience in a customer service, call center, or related role.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficiency in using CRM systems and basic software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
+ A positive and empathetic approach to resolving customer concerns.
Preferred Skills:
+ Previous experience in a call center or high-volume customer interaction role.
+ Ability to remain calm and composed when handling challenging situations.
+ Multilingual communication skills are a plus but not mandatory.
+ Familiarity with company-specific products or services can be advantageous.
