Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Clinical Officer to provide strategic leadership and drive the clinical vision across the organization.

Our client is an independent, national nonprofit dedicated to transforming the lives of children and families struggling with mental health and learning disorders. Their teams work every day to deliver the highest standards of care, advance the science of the developing brain and empower parents, professionals, and policymakers to support children when and where they need it most. Together with their supporters, they're helping children reach their full potential in school and in life.

The Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) will lead and oversee all clinical operations, strategy, and innovation, ensuring exceptional quality of care, regulatory compliance, and seamless integration across psychiatry, psychology, and research. As a necessary member of the executive leadership team and reporting directly to the President, the CCO will shape the clinical direction of an organization that delivers 70,000 patient visits annually across its clinical offices in Midtown Manhattan and San Mateo, California. You will provide strategic oversight to a multidisciplinary team of 70 clinicians and psychiatrists, promoting excellence in care delivery, program development, and professional growth across both coasts.

5. Integrate Research, Training, and Evaluation into Clinical Practice

Guide the integration of research and clinical services through outcome studies, data-driven practices, and collaboration with scientific teams. Advance models of measurement-based care and evidence-informed innovation.

6. Advance Institutional Visibility and Strategic Partnerships

Serve as the public and internal face of the clinical enterprise. Be the clinical spokesperson for the organization through media, conferences, and important partner engagements. Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team to build referral networks and promote clinical services.

7. Champion Development and External Funding

Partner with the Development team to support fundraising strategies across individual, corporate, foundation, and government sources. Cultivate external relationships and partnerships to expand access to high-quality mental health services for children and families.

8. Maintain a Clinical Caseload

Provide direct clinical services in accordance with organizational needs and licensure requirements.
