About the role

Pirate Ventures, a hospitality company with 4 locations in DC, is looking to expand our events team! We're looking for experienced bartenders and servers with a commitment to an exceptional guest experience.

What you'll do

As a bartender, you will be an essential part of our team responsible for delivering outstanding service and creating memorable moments for our guests during daily service in our high-end small plates restaurant & bar. You will be working in a fast-paced, exciting environment and must be able to manage large crowds while maintaining a high level of professionalism and quality. 

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of bartending experience , preferably in high-volume event settings.
• Knowledge of mixology and cocktail preparation.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
• Must be at least 21 years of age to serve alcohol.
• TIPS or equivalent responsible beverage service certification is a plus.
• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift/move heavy kegs or supplies.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
