About the Role:
Under limited to moderate supervision (Mid Level), assist with routine analytical testing of samples submitted to the lab. Assist with maintenance, cleaning and minor repairs of instruments and laboratory equipment used during testing. Perform other duties as required.
What you'll do:
Perform complete analysis of test methods and standard operating and safety procedures.
Submit, analyze and report results to appropriate workflow for completed tests.
Assist with calibration, maintenance and ensuring proper operation of instruments used in the test methods.
Complete cleaning assignments, waste disposal, equipment checks, ordering supplies, and chemical inventory, as required, and document completed tasks in the appropriate logbooks.
Document all lab reports in compliance with company policy and GMP/GLP regulations.
Complete proficiency and other training requirements and document all completed training.
Support laboratory staff or management with projects and notify team of significant testing issues.
Perform complete analysis of more complex test methods using standard operating and safety procedures
Train and method others on methods and instrumentation.
Peer review other analysts work for release.
What you'll need: Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry or equivalent science
Attention to detail, ability to follow procedures and methods, good documentation and record keeping.
5-10 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years of experience with a Master's Degree
Prior experience with sample extraction, analytical instrumentation, and laboratory software.
Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Accountable for assignments and delivers under pressure.
