*NOW HIRING: ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT*
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to support our finance team in maintaining accurate records and driving financial success. In this role, you’ll assist with day-to-day accounting operations, help prepare reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards. Responsibilities:
Assist with maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
Support the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements
Help manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment processing
Assist in processing payroll and ensuring compliance with tax regulations
Help prepare and file tax-related documents, such as sales tax returns
Participate in internal audits and help ensure compliance with company policies
Organize and maintain financial documentation for external audits
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and best practices
Qualifications:
2-4 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or finance support role (preferred)
Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Financial Edge, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Solid communication skills and a proactive problem-solving attitude
Knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP standards is a plus
